Iron Chef Café is one of those small restaurants that are hidden in a fairly large
business complex but whose food is worth worthy of your visit. The menu features
a multitude of popular cuisines including Thai, Japanese and Chinese in a clean
and casual setting.

I started my meal off with the delicious Chicken Potstickers $3.95, crescent-
shaped dumplings stuffed with ground chicken and minced vegetables. The
dumplings were really tasty and were among the best I have had.

Rather than fill myself with some great appetizers like Shrimp Rolls, Shrimp Har
Gow, Shiu Mai and others, I decided to dive into the list of entrees so here comes
the Thai Basil Stir-Fried Beef $7.95, the fresh crispy Garlic Green Beans with B.B.
Q. Pork, $7.95 and the zesty House Shrimp Curry $8.95.

The Thai Basil Stir-Fried dish consisted of fresh basil, garlic, onions, celery,
zucchini, mushrooms, bell peppers and tender sliced beef in a terrific dark Thai
chili sauce. The assortment of ingredients along with the zesty sauce made for
one great dish. The Garlic Green Beans was another good choice. You can’t go
wrong with fresh crisp green beans accented with lots of garlic, onions, carrots
and tasty B.B. Pork. The next dish in this flight of dishes was the Signature House
Shrimp Curry. I love curry, but depending on what country the curry comes from,
curry can be deathly hot. The version made here was nice and creamy and was
all about flavor with just the right amount of heat. Add carrots, potatoes and
shrimp and you have another tempting dish to try.

The last of the dishes that I sampled were the Spicy Eggplant with a delicious
spicy brown sauce $6.95 and the terrific Kung Pao Spaghetti $6.95. Imagine
some really great tasting Kung Pao Chicken, peanuts and green onions and
sauce over spaghetti noodles. I have never had Kung Pao served this style and
highly recommend it for you to try.

My least favorite dish was the Orange Peel Chicken $6.95. I usually love this dish
however; the chicken was lightly battered and was not as crunchy as I would have
liked it to be. The sauce was okay and the dish was quite good but if you like
crunch, I suggest you ask for the chicken to be extra crispy.

Overall, the food was fresh, the sauces were flavorsome and the portions were
more than adequate. The Iron Chef Café was a nice restaurant find and the
prices won’t put a dent in your pocketbook
